Loren Sokolow

Loren has over 40 years of experience of experience as a financial and operations executive, with special expertise in professional services financial strategies, sustainability, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Prior to his retirement in 2019, he served as the CFO and Treasurer of California-based Psomas: a $100 million engineering firm.

Kris brings 25 years of experience as a Public Works Director, City Engineer, Capital Projects Manager, and Management Analyst to her position as KBA’s President. She excels at policy and procedure development, project management, innovative design, federal funding, grant management, resource management, and communication. Kris currently serves on the Foundation Board for the Lake Washington Institute of Technology. She is also a Mentor for the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship and was recently appointed to the Evergreen Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees.
Jim has deep roots in the Puget Sound area, forming strong connections in the transportation community during his 34-year career with HNTB, an employee-owned infrastructure solutions firm. He retired from HNTB in 2021 as their Northwest Division President.
