Cedar Hills Regional Landfill CM On-Call

KBA provides construction management and related services on a work order basis for King County, Solid Waste Division (SWD) for the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill. The work includes CM services during both design and implementation phases of landfill closure, landfill development and facility demolition, facility relocation, Leachate Lagoon, final filling and closure, header replacement, dual phase well and other infrastructure. The Cedar Hills Regional Landfill (the largest landfill in Washington State) is projected to reach its capacity in 2028.

Cedar Hills Regional Landfill North Flare Station Electrical

KBA provided construction management and inspection services for the $4.6 million North Flare Station Motor Control Center (MCC) Upgrade project at Cedar Hills Regional Landfill. KBA managed daily operations, including field staff oversight and project inspection, collaborating with the design consultant and King County to coordinate activities and manage expectations. They reviewed and approved contractor progress payments, documented changes, and drafted correspondence. KBA also implemented QA/QC processes, provided technical input on changes, and oversaw the construction of a new MCC building, upgrading supporting components, and removing existing MCC panels. The project involved site civil work, structural building, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and demolition of existing MCC panels.
